The files of the house are not very full but one finds a diploma decreed in 1932, at the time of the “Market with the wines of Champagne” for a white wine of 1931. Rise starts after 1945 with Robert Vautrain who, having learned the wine making in a large house from Epernay, creates his own house. His Jean-Claude son marrying a girl of vine grower also creates in 1960 his house, the Champagne André Paulet. The two houses amalgamate in 1982. The vineyard was made up on the soils of AY and DIZY with 15% from pinot meunier, 45% of pinot black and 40% of chardonnay. Half of the production of grape is sold at a famous house rémoise. It is today the fifth generation which directs this family home of 11 ha.
Discover the Grande Réserve Cru, dominated by the body of pinot noir (60%) and the freshness of chardonnay (40%), intense and tasty, a full Champagne, of fresh and round mouth at the same time. Rosé brut Premier Cru, nice robe with a subtle and persistent nose, a rich foam, aromas of strawberry, vinous mouth with creamy notes. Taste Blanc de blancs Premier Cru, with the fresh and flowered nose, very well-balanced, combining balance and persistence, powerful and tempting, proportioned well, of light foam, with the apricot and toast notes to the palate. Excellent Carte Blanche Premier Cru, of nice golden robe, a Champagne harmonious, delicate and rich at the same time, with notes of lime and honey.
