A winegrowing of 19 ha resulting from an exceptional siliceous low register soil and the gravelly clays strewn with hardcores calcareous (65% Sauvignon, 15% Sauvignon gray and 20% Sémillon for the white wines; 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet-Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet franc for the red wines). Manual grape harvest, maturing of the white 30% out of new barrels for 6 months on the lees delicate and 70% out of tanks on the lees also; red: wine of drop 80% of harvest out of barrels for 12 months and wine of press 20%. The wine produced on the winegrowing is characterized by a mineral expression as much in red that in white reflecting the type of ground argilo-limestone.
Beautiful 2015, where the structure predominates, with a powerful nose with notes of blackberry and humus, well fleshy as it should be, very good frame, with harmonious tannins, a distinguished wine, ample, full mouth. The 2014, with the nose of violets and undergrowth, all in color, with in mouth these subtle and intense notes of red berries, with ample tannins but well melted, it is very harmonious. Excellent 2013, tasty, with notes of gooseberry and humus, blends a tannic finesse with a persistent roundness in the mouth, a finish with these notes of smoke and strawberry from the overmature woods. The 2012 is a beautiful, well-dressed, fleshy color, all aromatic nuances (macerated fruits, spices), dark colour, complex mouth where dominate plum, leather and undergrowth, with soft tannins, with a very persistent finish. The 2011, intense color with black reflections, is a generous wine with aromas of red fruits and spices, and well coated tannins, Typical and persistent, ideal on lamb hazelnuts with vegetable flans or veal fillet in porcini crust. Remarkable 2010, rich in color, dense, where mix the griotte and humus, a fleshy, robust wine, custard. Tasty 2009, with notes of macerated fruit and spices, fatty, with balanced tannins, characteristic fleshy, well in mouth, beautiful evolution. Superb Pessac-Léognan white 2018, rich, very floral, very fragrant, of a long finish, with nuances of grapefruit and toasted bread. Remarkable 2016, fat, dense, ample, with nuances of apple and dried fruit, sweet mouth, combining finesse and persistence, that you will enjoy on lobsters with three flavors or a marinade of clams with thyme. The 2015, with its delicate nose, hints of citrus and white flowers, is all in elegance. Excellent 2014, with nuances of flowers, finely peppery, oily but nervous, very well balanced, scented and ample mouth.
