The castle belongs to the Larrieu family since 1734, it is located on a slope argilo-limestone facing the Garonne, and resting on enormous fossil oyster benches. Thus profiting from a southern exposure full, the vineyard extends on a surface from 28 hectares of which 23 are devoted to the white vines and 5 with the red vines.
The Sainte-Croix-du-Mont 2005 is of beautiful golden dress, with aromas of white flowers and honey, an unctuous mouth with the sharp and dense, typified and rich finale, very scented, very persistent, which associates smoothness and aromatic richness. The 2003 are all in subtlety of aromas (cooked fruits, hawthorn), of a soft consistency, a wine to be discovered with aperitif or on a dessert, very accessible. The 2002 are a persistent wine, with the complex aromatic nuances (pink, acacia, honey…), very well-balanced, melted in mouth, of beautiful guard like this remarkable 2001, unctuous with wish, the complex and powerful nose prevailed by crystallized apricot and honey notes. Superb vintage Laurence 2005, of golden color, with the nose prevailed by the ripe fruits (pear) and the dry small fruits, slightly with the honey taste, all in sweetness and smoothness, of beautiful guard. For the pleasure, this superb vintage Laurence 98, with the rich nose prevailed by macerated fruit notes, which starts to be tasted perfectly.
