Henri Cadillac, owner likeable and impassioned, applies to preserve an exceptional qualitative regularity. The vineyard extends on 18 ha on a ground relatively flat argilo-limestone in consequence of the alluvial deposits from the fluviomarine terraces from delicate from the Tertiary sector. The type of vines are the Merlot and the Cabernet-Sauvignon with equal shares.
This Medoc 2005, of beautiful garnet-red red color, with the crunching red fruit nose (raspberry, currant, blackcurrant), with nuances spiced in mouth, is a wine really successful, silky, of very good tannic structure and a beautiful harmony, with much of elegance, guard. Beautiful 2004, of a dark red, a bulky wine stops some, elegant and complex, typified well and traditional. The 2003, quite fleshy, are mouthfull, of a nice garnet-red dress, with rich and supple tannins at the same time, the persistent nose where prevail of the spice and bilberry notes. The 2002 are of beautiful color, of intense dress, with the persistent nose (morello cherry, violet), a wine very well-balanced, fleshy, with tasty tannins. Beautiful 2001, matured very well out of barrels, robust, of dense mouth, with quite molten tannins, where intermingle with the notes of ripe red fruits and liquorice. In the line, the 2000, with the undergrowth notes, very well-balanced with the nose as in mouth, combines structure and roundness, with nuances of blackberry, guard. Excellent a second wine, Château Taffard 2005 (wine making out of stainless steel tanks, with control of the temperatures, whose alcoholic fermentation is followed from 3 to 4 weeks of maceration, then malo-lactic fermentation after pressing of marcs) wine where the blackberry and the blackcurrant mix, full and solid, of rich and robust mouth, with well-balanced and ripe tannins, of a dense final, to lead to a joint of pork, for example.
