In the south of Mont Brouilly, Sylvie Dufaitre-Genin, viticultrice, produced of Brouilly and Côte-de-Brouilly and cultivate with conviction her 11.60 ha of vines, type of vine Gamay black with white juice. It patiently matures its wine to obtain vintages worthy of its grandfathers vine growers, present at Odenas since 1752. The wine then takes its robe ruby and its aromas of red fruits and flowers in the cellar. The permanent attention and the passion of Sylvie Dufaitre-Genin make the remainder. “For several years, she specifies, the Crêt des Garanches has engaged in a respectful step of nature by removing the use of insecticides on its estate. In order to guarantee the good development of the vines of Gamay black to white juice which produces the wine of the winegrowing, it is the natural regulation of fauna and the local flora which fills its work. Every year, the vines, of a 40 years average of age, is gathered the grapes with the hand. Then these grapes are vinified according to the traditional method beaujolaise, which confers on Brouilly and Côte-de-Brouilly their so particular characters.” A reference, with this Côte-de-Bbrouilly 2017, Gamay World Gold Medals and in Mâcon, with these intense scents where dominate the well-ripe red berries (redcurrant, blackberry), firm and scented on the palate, with balanced tannins, a wine that combines structure and distinction, of excellent evolution. The Brouilly Cuvée Spéciale 2017, with its nose of ripe fruits and humus, with hints of raspberry and pepper, is dense and persistent, a success. As for Brouilly 2017, black Gamay mono grape variety with white juice, vines 40 years old on average, it is particularly tasty and finely bouqueté, with intense ruby colour, the nose of ripe red fruits (blackcurrant, cherry), with round tannins, a wine that is both powerful and supple, and 2018, in line, arrives on the market.

Cédric Chignard took the responsability for this winegrowing of 8 ha since 2007 (4th generation). Her father, Michel, impassioned owner knew to transmit his values to him in order to let as well as possible express the soil according to each vintage, and mature large Fleurie as one should see some more often, that is wine where elegance is combined with a tannic presence good real. The grape harvest is manual, the traditional wine making by whole bunches, and the maturing is done out of tanks, tuns or barrels. Superbe Fleurie Les Moriers 2016, which owes its centuries-old notoriety to a privileged soil, derived from the granite where it plunges its roots, which combines structure and charm, the persistent nose (blackcurrant, smoke...), of a sustained and brilliant robe, rich, intense mouth. The 2018 follows. As for Fleurie rouge cuvée Les 10 Coups 2015, it is a nice classic wine, frank and charming as we like them, of a very nice robe of a deep garnet, with aromas of red fruits with subtle smoky notes, a wine ample and warm, to be provided with, in particular, a cassolette of sweetbreads and veal kidneys with mustard or a rack of pork with prune rind. Remarkable Beaujolais-Villages red Le Petit Impermanent 2015, which gives off a powerful and persistent nose of raspberry and black cherry, a harmonious wine. Nice Flowery Cuvée Spéciale Vieilles Vignes 2014, robust and powerful palate, beautiful material, with strawberry notes of wood and spices, with rich tannins. There is still its Juliénas Beauvernay 2013, plot located in steep terrain. The name Beauvernay comes from verne, a wild tree related to alder. Average age of the vines: 50 years, very stony soils of blue rocks and some volcanic rocks, aging in old lightning and small concrete vats..., all giving this wine tasty, intense color, rich and silky tannins, With the connotations of case- sis and pepper, excellent evolution.

From father to son since four generations. The domain 17 ha all in all extends over 7 ha of Juliénas, 1 ha of Saint-Amour and 5 ha of Beaujolais-Villages, the whole resulting from the black vine Gamay with white juice. The exploitation contains 1 ha of white Beaujolais-Villages stemming from some Chardonnay on the municipality of Saint-Verand in Saône-et-Loire with in parallel the development of the Cremant de Bourgogne. 1,5ha in more in Chénas and 1,5ha in more in Moulin-à-Vent with Sylvain's arrival. Different wine making according to vineyards and naming. Traditional, semi-carbonic for Juliénas, hat immersed for the Saint-Amour. Francis Tête, cooper, manager of cellar, created the exploitation to transmit on her then to his son Raymond, pioneer of the direct sale in bottles in the property. Since 1980, Michel and Françoise developed the company and established, in 1988, the Closed of the Fief. Today on the domain, two generations mix. In 2015, Sylvain joins the domain after a training in vine growing and oenology with numerous training courses in various wine-making exploitations(operations). Discovery of the Australian vineyard, with work experience on the domain First Creek (Hunter Valley). Fort of its experience, and of these five years of wine making in the side of his father, creation of the company Michel and Sylvain Tête in 2015. It is a new breath in the management of the domain, to adapt itself to this wine-making world in change, but while respecting the tradition and the soil. A reference with their Juliénas rouge cuvée Prestige 2017, a colorful and fragrant wine (blackberry, morello cherry and violet), powerful on the nose as in the mouth, of a pretty persistent finish, to be opened on an old-fashioned calf liver or a veal cream rib, for example. The Juliénas red 2017 has a beautiful color with purple reflections, where elegance combines with a very real tannic presence, when the 2018 develops aromas of currant and blackberry, a powerful wine and typed in mouth, intense dress, well scented (fresh fruit, humus...), slightly peppery on the finish. The Saint-Amour Capitans 2018, clay-limestone soil, the vineyard of Gamay, aged 35, is driven in goblet, with grass rows for a reasoned culture. The wine is superb, powerful, heady, all in color, with on the palate these subtle notes of red fruits on ripe, it has well melted tannins, a very harmonious wine. The Beaujolais-Villages Blanc Fleur de Chardonnay 2018, is fine, ample, rich in bouquet (citrus, hawthorn, almond...), harmonious, mouth-watering to taste on a fish terrine or a cod steak with porcini mushrooms. The Beaujolais-Villages rouge Domaine du Clos du Fief 2018, with its nose dominated by blackcurrant and raspberry, is a classic, frank and charming wine just like the Beaujolais-Villages rosé Fleur de Gamay 2018, fruity and gourmet, all in charm. Many rewards obtained.

Reasoned culture, Terra Vitis in 2009. Interview: "The 2018 was a qualitative and quantitative year for winegrowers who were able to wait before harvesting and it was not easy to vinify because of the very high degrees. We market this year 2015, 2016, 2017 and in July, 2018". Since 2009, the Terra Vitis specifications have allowed further progress in the quality of the wines. No thermovinification, traditional vinifications, hence beautiful color wines with a good ability to age. We recently opened a remarkable 1984 bottle. Vintages for sale in 2016: La Louve 2014, 2015 - Vieilles Vignes 2001, 2003, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2011. The current events in the Domain: "My two sons, Michel and Louis, now accompany me in the management of the vineyard, and I continue to develop more and more our activity in wine tourism: tasting workshops, with initiation and improvement by groups of 5 to 10 people; individual and group wine-maker appetizer; local meals prepared by the producer. Day tour in Burgundy or Beaujolais by collection car....” Notes of Patrick Dussert's tastings: This Morgon Les Charmes red La Louve 2017 is a beautiful deep red, complex and fruity nose with a dominant cherry, one is seduced by its beautiful structure that predicts a beautiful future. The 2016, rich, intense garnet color, with dense and supple tannins at the same time, a beautiful classic and concentrated wine, with notes of violet and liquorice, that you are advised on hot pigs or duck stew. Superb 2015, racy, spicy, with subtle scents where dominate ripe fruit, musk and violet, all in structure, very typical, combining finesse and frame, of a beautiful harmony in mouth, beautiful guard. We also recommend the Morgon Les Charmes Noble Tradition rouge 2009, Terra Vitis, both fleshy and silky, colorful, with a complex nose dominated by blackcurrant and undergrowth, with ample mouth. Make yourself happy with the formidable Morgon Vieilles Vignes 2009, with aromas of kirsch, rich, intense garnet color, dense and supple tannins at the same time, a beautiful classic and concentrated wine, with hints of violet and liquorice, combining fineness and structure, perfect on a stuffed turkey or a veal shank with onions.
