CHAMPAGNE RENE RUTAT

CHAMPAGNE RENE RUTATThe work of the vine and wine is a family tradition in the Rutat household: the great grandparents who were coopers and the grandparents who grew vines, passed their passion for wine down to René, the father of the present owner. Champagne René Rutat was thus born at the beginning of the 1960's as a "Propriétaire-Récoltant". It was in 1985 that Michel took over the family company with his wife, Evelyne. After several generations of vine-growers in Vertus, René Rutat Champagne is today widely recognised among the professionals of the wine sector and often wins awards for its quality.
Try tasting their delightful Champagne Blanc de Blancs, for instance (grey label). It is dense in both the nose and the mouth, full-bodied and long, with excellent expression combining elegance and structure. Astonishing Demi-Sec, very fine, unctuous and fresh, all at the same time. Very pleasant in the mouth with just a touch of honey and acacia -a Champagne to be enjoyed with your desserts. Excellent Vintage Cuvée, rich in aromas with a nose of ripe fruit and a delightful finish in the mouth. Truly remarkable value for money, as is the Brut Grande Réserve (red label), very aromatic.
