GEWURZTRAMINER

EARL MAISON ZOELLER

EARL MAISON ZOELLERAs the press dating from the XVIIe century testifies some, the family perpetuates since more than eight generations the viticultural tradition. Today, this ancestral know-how is combined with the modern methods to make it possible to work out wines complying with the rules of hygiene and quality while preserving their naturalness and especially their authenticity. The Gewurztraminer Les Orchidées 2005, typified, of scented and unctuous mouth, with the notes of smoked with a spice point, is a wine very representative of this vintage, well-balanced and harmonious. The Pinot gris Les Orchidées 2005, with the subtle nose, of a beautiful aromatic persistence, with marked nuances of dry fruits, nervous and dense mouth at the same time, is to be opened on a lobster. The Gewurztraminer cuvée Réservée 2006 associates smoothness and structure, slightly spiced, of powerful mouth, dry and suave at the same time, very succeeded. Remarkable Pinot gris Vendanges Tardives 2003, a complex, delicate and ripe wine at the same time, all in aromatic subtlety, with this nuance of candied fruits quite persistent, of a great consistency. Excellent Pinot noir La Saignée 2006, a wine of supple but quite robust mouth, coloured and scented (ripe). The House also proposes white Pinot to you vintage Réservée 2006 and this nice Crémant d' Alsace, having a nice bouquet, with quince the fruity notes, of frank and creamy foam, ideal on a tart with the mirabelle plums.
