The Domaine des Trottières created with the whole beginning of last century, exploits 102 ha of vines in AOC, including 16 ha of a recent acquisition: the Domaine du Regain. Property of the Lamotte family since 1985, the vineyard is the subject of a repairing, with a development of the type of vines Cabernet and Chenin. A functional wine storehouse was built in 1990. The winegrowing produces 9 appellations: Anjou rouge, Anjou-Villages, Rosé de Loire, Rosé d' Anjou, Cabernet d' Anjou, Coteaux-du-Layon, Bonnezeaux, Anjou blanc, Crémant de Loire.
Remarkable Anjou-Villages 2009, typified well, with the cinnamon and raspberry aromas ripe, rich and attractive, with melted tannins, at the same time intense and supple. The Anjou-Village Expression 2010 associates aromatic concentration, smoothness of tannins and powerfull in mouth, a full and fleshy wine, with ripe fruit aromas, slightly spiced as it is needed. Cabernet-d’Anjou 2010 is a true greediness, tenderly fruity, of robe peony, with the aromas of fresh red small fruits. Nice Anjou Expression blanc 2009, a vintage well-balanced, harmonious, all in smoothness of aromas, a scented and round wine, with the delicate nose, of nice mouth, with the pear and fresh nut accents. You also give pleasure with Rosé d’Anjou 2010, very successful like Anjou rouge 2009, traditional, very well-balanced, all in mouth, very quite robust, round but quite fullbodied also, and Cabernet-d’Anjou 2010, a light wine, very pleasant.
