Fourth generation of vine growers, Gilles Duroché, as his Pierre son has and exploits the Domaine Duroché. Since the succession, in 1980, vines and viticultural establishment of his father, Philippe, in Gevrey-Chambertin, Gilles continued the acquisition of pieces on the commune. Today the Field has more than 8 hectares of vines (in tenant farming) through 8 appellations.
The wines of 2007 continue their maturing was of oak in our cellars. They have a good balance and are full with future. The nose is pleasant on red small fruits with an appreciable depth. Remarkable Charmes-Chambertin 2005, of intense dress ruby, with aromas of overripe fruits and spices, complexes, of a very beautiful structure, with rich tannins, a quite robust wine, mouthfull, of guard, of course. The Premier Cru Lavaud Saint-Jacques 2005 fleshy and is typified as we like them, associating smoothness and structure in mouth, a wine fleshy, intense, very well-balanced, ideal on a rather rich kitchen.
