These young wine growers were rewarded in 2005 by the Départemental price for Dynamique Agricole. Nathalie and David Drussé produce wines certified Organic farming "FR BIO-01”.
Like us, you will love their superb Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil rouge Vieilles Vignes 202, a pure Cabernet franc, from a tuffeau terroir, it is a typical wine as we like it, with framing, notes of griotte and humus, of sustained colour, round mouth.
Beautiful Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil rouge Les Graviers 2023, elaborated on soils of flint and sand, with these notes characteristic of ripe raspberry, intense on the nose as in the mouth, particularly charming.
Seductive Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil rosé 2023 Bio, a pure Cabernet franc, of a brackish color, that blossoms the dried apricot, it is a nervous wine, charming, both dry and friand, and it associates itself with rillons or a quiche, for example.
There is also their red Bourgueil Leroy de Restigné 2023, still particularly marked by its clay-limestone soil, with aromas of cooked fruit and undergrowth, but also cherry, prunes and truffle, it is a very balanced wine where the tannins are firm and melted at the same time, powerful and tasty mouth.
There is still the IGP Val de Loire red Cabernet franc 2023, on the fruit, of garnet tint, dense on the nose as in the mouth, with very silky and very balanced tannins. And the Amplitude Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil 2022 is very well done.
The Domaine also produces for some vintages wines without added sulphites, in small quantities. To be tasted freely on many gastronomic opportunities.
Free reception for the adherent camp-site-drivers with France Passion or others.
The cellar has just obtained for the comfort of all, the label “Tourisme and Handicap”.

Characteristics |
The expression of the soils is preserved to the maximum, fruity for the gravels and charms for argilo-limestones. The purpose of the severe selections are to banish green tannins and the bitterness. In our areas, Cabernet franc is a type of vine which requires many patience, attention and care, in order to work out greedy and tempting wines: a big challenge every year |
Wine and food pairing |
The rosé calls a pause in end of the afternoon, but also the crudenesses, the fish, the exotic dishes. Great user-friendliness for the vintage Les Graviers (dishes of summer, rib steak on the grill, toasts of Saint-Maure of Touraine) and dishes simmered for the fleshier wines like Les Vieilles Vignes and Leroy de Restigné |
