DOMAINE GUY ROBIN

A lovely 20 hectare estate surrounding the village of Chablis. The vines get all the exposure to the sun they need on these steep south-east facing slopes running east to west. The cherry-scented Chablis Premier Cru Vaillons is lovely with its typical local character and aromatic finesse – very complex and slightly spicy. The Premier Cru Montée de Tonnerre boasts great finesse on the palate. A fleshy, smooth wine which is also very racy. A good Chablis and a superb Chablis Grand Cru Valmur, as rich in aromas as in structure, very characteristic, fleshy and nervy all at the same time, excellent in the mouth, very good for laying down. Has won many awards, and deservedly so. Very reasonable prices.
