BELLET

DOMAINE DE TOASC

DOMAINE DE TOASCA property of 12 ha, including 7 ha of vines and 2 ha olive-trees. Here, the wind of ground, sea and the tramontana maintain the medical condition of the vines. On the slopes where the uneven one reaches 180 m, work is often practiced manually and put rhythm into by one prunes short, a stripping and green grape harvest limiting the yield to 35 hl/ha. The grounds resulting from the alluvia of Var to quaternary are made up by the “poudinfue”, clay agglomerate, sand and rolled rollers, rich in biogenic salts. Since 2012, wines of the Domain are approved Ecocert in biological culture.
Superb Bellet red 2014.60% Folle noire, 30% Grenache and 10% Braquet, high 12 months out of barrels, very typified of course by its original type of vines, wine of a full and rich mouth, of beautiful color garnet-red, with the nose of crystallized cherry and humus, perfect on a guinea fowl with the paste of olives, mashed potatoes of chick-peas or rolled of nice of pig to the basil.
Very beautiful white Bellet cuvée du Père 2014, pure Rolle, vinified out of barrels with this key of allied acidity to a pleasant roundness, where intermingle with the notes of almond, ripe fruits (pear, mango) and of heather.
Bellet white 2016, very majority Rolle with a suspicion of Chardonnay (5%), where intermingle with the almond notes, of ripe fruits and of heather, harmonious mouth, is a suave and dry wine at the same time.
As for rosé Bellet 2016, of slightly salmon color, with the subtle connotations of small flowers and quince, with this characteristic spice point, it is quite suave finally, and asks a kitchen refined like tagliatelle the basil and pinions or an ox carpaccio.
