A property of 12 ha, including 6,5 ha of vines and 2 ha olive-trees. Bellet is one of the smallest Appellations of Controlled origin of France, which obtained its label there is more than 60 years. Here, the wind of ground, sea and the tramontana maintain the medical condition of the vines and allow a reasoned culture. On the slopes where the uneven one reaches 180 m, work is often practiced manually and put rhythm into by one prunes short, a stripping and green grape harvest limiting the yield to 35 hl/ha. The grounds resulting from the alluvia of Var to quaternary are made up by the “poudinfue”, clay agglomerate, sand and rolled rollers, rich in biogenic salts. The vineyard is in organic contract of conversion under Ecocert control.
Discover Bellet rouge 2008, composed of 65% Folle noire, 30% Grenache and 5% Braquet, extremely well matured 12 months out of barrels, with coated tannins, fleshy as it should be, rich and traditional, of robe intense crimson, scented (red fruits with fresh core, humus…), slightly peppered finally. Bellet blanc 2010, majority Rolle with a suspicion of Chardonnay (5%), is all in smoothness aromatic, harmonious, quite well-balanced in acidity, very elegant, with the scents of rose and almond, supple and flattering mouth like Bellet rosé 2010, 60% Braquet and 40% Grenache, very expressive, with nuances of peach, of apricot, and a spiced note, mixing freshness and roundness, of beautiful color.
