VIN DE PAYS DES COTES-DE-THONGUE

DOMAINE BOURDIC

DOMAINE BOURDICThe Bourdic Winegrowing is in the hills with the borders of the Cevennes, close to the historical city of Pézenas in Languedoc-Roussillon. Our vines surround the winegrowing on a surface of 14 ha. The soil is very varied. Broad transverse terraces assemble plain to succeed on a plate. In fact, the nature of the grounds is very diversified.
Since 2008, we are in the course of conversion with the organic farming. That makes it possible the vine to develop in an healthy environment and to obtain bunches of excellent quality (putting under grass of part of the vines, yields from 15 to 45 hl/ha, manual grape harvest). The intensive care whose it is the object throughout the year is at the base of the intense balance of the taste. They enable us to produce typical wines of the south, of an incomparably subtle aroma.
We created two different ranges: musical range: wines young, fruity, easy to drink, wines of pleasure which are not maturing in oak barrels (Density, Rosé, Octandre, Zapa, Mori, Grenache 2007), and the range tradition, with wines elegant, fullbodied, matured out of barrels (except the Muscat), and of old vintages which are now ready to drink, of the wines of ageing and character (Tempranillo, Grenache, Merlot, Syrah, Puech, Sentinelle, Hortalesse).
Discover this Vin de Pays of Coast-in-Thongue Rosé de Saignée 2008, with the nose complexes (cherry, strawberry…), expenses and round at the same time. Nice Vin de Pays of Coast-in-Thongue Zappa 2007, majority Syrah (69%), Tempranillo (18%) and Grenache (13%), each type of vine was vinified separately according to its characteristics. Vin de Pays of Coast-of-Thongue Grenache 2007, manual grape harvest with sorting, de-stalking, maturing 16 month out of tanks enamelled, coloured, quite fullbodied, perfect on the terrine. Beautiful Vin de Pays of Coast-in-Thongue Hortalesse 2003, (57% Syrah, 27% Grenache, and 16% Cabernet-Sauvignon, maturing 18 to 26 months out of barrels of oak of Allier), full in mouth, with notes of pepper and currant, fleshy, quite robust length, dense and concentrated, of excellent ageing.
