DOMAINE GLANTENET PERE ET FILS

DOMAINE GLANTENET PERE ET FILSOur family is installed in Bourgogne since the 15th century and the wine Winegrowing goes back to the 18th century. Today, Jean-François GLANTENET in load of the estate, deals with 25 hectares, distributed on five communes. The Winegrowing traditionally vinifies its wines since 1997, year of the first setting in bottles. The Winegrowing produces approximately 30.000 bottles per annum. The wines are sold: with the Caveau, through the various living rooms and demonstrations where we are present all during the year. Shoulder by Valérie and surrounded by its team on the ground, with Sylvie which assists it at the office, Jean-François led the family estate in a traditional way in the respect of the soil. In an environmental concern, the vines are led in “reasoned fight”, with a delimitation of selected pieces, such as for example the old vines. Each year, the vine follows its vegetative cycle: of prunes, with burnings of its vine shoots, its évasivage (to preserve only the best grapes) to arrive at the gathering of the bunches in the pure respect of the traditions and to give to the wines of the Hautes-Côtes the character of large the Bourgognes.
The winegrowing proposes to you: the Bourgogne Hautes-Côtes-de-Nuits rouge 2005, Burgondia of Gold 2007 and silver medal Paris 2007, maturing in oak barrel, with the red fruit aromas with fume notes, with ripe tannins, mouthfull like this Hautes-Côtes-de-Nuits blanc 2005, which associates aromatic richness and persistence, with these scents of flowers and almond, the Côtes-de-Nuits-Villages Le Clos de Magny 2005,15 months of maturing out of barrels of French oak, with the traditional undergrowth and blackcurrant notes, with tannins quite present, is firm and dense, mouthfull, the Hautes Côtes-de-Beaune blanc 2006, Burgondia of Gold 2007, and the Bourgogne Aligoté Vieilles Vignes 2005, excellent with snails.
