DOMAINE RENE CACHEUX ET FILS

DOMAINE RENE CACHEUX ET FILSSmall family estate, with a knowledge to make since 4 generations, located in the middle of the village. It is at the beginning of last century that François BLEE settles in Vosne Romanée. His/her son Charles BLEE succeeds to him by increasing the surface of the winegrowing. In 1966, the estate divides between his two daughters. Jacqueline Blée, one of his daughters, and her husband Rene CACHEUX, created the Domaine Rene CACHEUX- BLEE. It is in 2004, after having worked on other wine estates that Gerald CACHEUX, their son, succeed to them and direct now the Domaine Rene CACHEUX & FILS. From 2005, the estate acquires vines of the appellation Chambolle Musigny.
Dense, complex, suave, discover Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Les Suchots 2007. It is very typified, tasty a wine and distinguished, concentrated and fleshy, very scented, very delicate, powerful and persistent in mouth, with intense savors with prevailing of ripe fruits, vanilla and undergrowth, guard. ? Very beautiful very favorite for their Chambolle-Musigny 2007, with this fleshy characteristic, this spice point and this at the same time powerful and supple, quite fullbodied structure as it should be.

Technique
The grape harvest is manual, the sorting is immediate, directly on the vine, the de-stalking is total before setting out of open tank. The wines are vinified in a traditional way with control of the temperatures. They are then maturing in oak barrels throughout one 18 month with a percentage of new barrels which can vary, according to the appellations and the vintage, between 30% and 70%.
Characteristics
A vermilion wine, of a nuance varying of the pure ruby to the black and often steady tulip. A red dress fire, going sometimes to garnet, drawing on the dark crimson. The quite ripe fruit on spiced bottom constitutes the frequent bouquet, together with strawberry and raspberry, bilberry and blackcurrant. This complex of molten and refined aromas evolves with the age to cherry with brandy, the crystallized one, leather and the fur, the gibecière of return of hunting to wood. With the palate, velvet and distinction, one finds there the plenitude of the pinot noir of high school. A wine of guard of course, balancing richness and tannins, texture and architecture under a well removed attack. The bottom can appear austere in its youth: it must develop out of bottle its structure and its fleshy. Often fullbodied, naked of Rubens, voluptuous and outgoing of its framework
Served with
Strong meats, roast poultries, lamb, game birds, paving stone of ox and couscous spiced with the poultry, cheeses with intense savors (époisses, langres, Saint-Florentin…). With the gourmets, the original agreement on foie gras stove has also its aficionados.
