CHATEAU DU COING DE SAINT FIACRE

CHATEAU DU COING DE SAINT FIACREThe Château comprises 42 ha of vines on 14% slopes facing south. It is a historical property of the Nantes vineyard: it existed in the Middle Ages, was renovated in 1756, then in 1810. The communes built at this time are of pure Italian style (called clissonnais) with genoese and genminated windows typical of the Nantes vineyard. If Mr. Chéreau Senior acquired this property full of history in 1973, it is now his daughter who manages this vineyard, and continues the effort to safeguard the architectural and wine heritage.
Since 2010, Véronique’s daughter, Aurore, graduated in oenology, has joined the Domaine.
Remarkable Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine sur lie Comte de Saint Hubert 2010, with a fine nose with notes of white flowers and hazelnut, a frank mouth, subtle notes of smoke on the palate, very balanced, combining vivacity and roundness, of fine guard.
Taste the Muscadet l'Ancestrale 2013 communal appellation Monnières Saint Fiacre, which has a lot of body and power, a great aromatic expression marked by very ripe fruit scents, then mineral notes. Very pleasant also the Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine sur lie 2016, with a subtle nose dominated by fresh fruit and lime, an attractive vintage.
Beau Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine sur lie Comte de Saint Hubert Vieilles Vignes 2016, a wine of a beautiful acidity, with a very floral nose of elder and acacia, associated with citrus notes, perfectly balanced between fat and freshness. Superb Muscadet Sèvre- et-Maine on lie Château de La Gravelle 2016 Organic Wine, certified Ecocert, with this touch of acidity combined with a pleasant roundness, where intertwine notes of quince and lily, of fine and persistent mouth.
The Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine Château de la Gravelle Gorges 2013, Gorges municipal appellation, is of a beautiful harmony, all in fruit and finesse, ample, with subtle nuances of apple and dried fruit, with scented and frank mouth, a definite success.
The Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine on lie Domaine de la Bournaire 2016 Organic Wine, certified Ecocert, is really remarkable, by- and persistent, intense on the nose as in the mouth, dry and fresh, floral, all round, very well balanced, with this frank finish with connotations of reinette and smoky on the palate.

Indeed, we wish that our wine remain sufficiently on its Lees so that it can take all its aromas
