CHÂTEAU DE L'OU This wine property created in the years 1920, was bought back in 1998 by the Bourrier family. The grounds formerly cultivated by the Templars, were entirely taken again. Château de L’Ou, an original name which would come from a fountain in the egg shape (“Lou” in Catalan) where the Templars came to water their horses. The very purified labels point out this symbol. The vineyard of 40 ha is led in organic farming certified since 1998.
You can discover this magnificent Muscat 2010, a suave and supple wine, with nuances of citrus fruits. Côtes-du-Roussillon red 2008 (60% Syrah, 20% Grenache noir, 20% Mourvèdre), is very successful, with the powerful nose where the spices and the fruits mix red, full and solid, rich color like of structure, VDP des Côtes Catalane Infiniment de l’Ou 2008, pure a Syrah resulting from fragmented selection with an yield of only 15 hl/ha, dense and powerful with the nose as in mouth, persistent, very harmonious with its tasty and rich tannins. Taste also rosy Côtes-du-Roussillon 2009 and the white VDP des Côtes Catalane 2009.100% Grenache white, with this nose of fresh flowers.
