It is probable that the vineyard of Château of Juge was appreciated for its qualities at the beginning of the Christian era. The winegrowing of Juge is born with delicate of XIXème century, thanks to Camille Mathelot, cofounder of the school of vine growing of Cadillac. It is a brilliant spirit and a wine grower who owes his fame in his Cru Quinette. Since 1880, it decides to diversify its production and increases its property with 30 hectares of only one holding, on which it builds the current castle later ten years. It obtains its first gold medal with Agricole Competition of Paris in 1898, and built the wine storehouse in 1907, equipping it with modern equipment. It left in heritage its winegrowing, but also its know-how and its taste for the innovation. The wines of the winegrowing tend to being better expressed after a few years, and a decantation at the time of the service. Vinified with a large respect of the fruit, their velvety texture confers to them a remarkable suppleness in their earliest youth. Their aromatic freshness and the delicate grit of tannins enables them to be kept about fifteen years. Discover this excellent Cadillac 2006, a wine delicate and tasty, full and velvety, of beautiful color, at the rich nose and well present prevailed by toast notes and macerated small fruits.
