SCEV CHAMPAGNE MICHEL ARNOULD ET FILSThe origins vigneronnes of the Arnould family go up at the end of last century. At the time, the Lefevre grandfathers exploit vines located on the soil Great wine of Verzenay, the grapes being sold at the large Country cottages. The first bottles were marketed in the Thirties. With beginning of the year 60, the little girl of the family Lefevre get maried with Michel Arnould and create together their own brand “Michel Arnould”. In 1972, they begin export in England. Today, their son Patrick and their son-in-law develops the mark in a large number of countries. The vineyard of 12 ha is led in reasoned fight, in the respect of the environment.
La Maison proposes you this Champagne blanc de noirs brut Tradition grand cru, 100% pinot noir, very characteristic of the aromatic power of this grape, a powerful wine, wine but fine, full-bodied and fruity, balanced and round. La très belle Grande Cuvée de Michel Arnould grand cru, 70% pinot noir parcel selection, 30% Chardonnay provenance Oger, Clos Vieilles Vignes, the moss is fine and light, dominated by hazelnut and apricot, harmonious, of a beautiful structure. Enjoy this Cuvée blanc de noirs Extra brut grand cru, 100% pinot noir, a Champagne all in nervosity, very balanced, harmonious in the mouth, distinguished, all in subtlety, grand cru dress, 70% pinot noir and 30% Chardonnay, which has a nose of ripe apple and a mouth suave, powerful and complex, where fruits, heather and fresh flowers mingle with the palate.
We tasted the Carte d'Or grand cru Millésime 2014, 50% old vines of pinot noir and 50% Chardonnay from Oger, Clos Vieilles Vignes, of light gold colour, combining finesse and structure, connotations of acacia flowers, intense and tasty palate. The brut Rosé grand cru 100% pinot noir with blends of red champenois hills, fruity and refreshing, round, very fine and elegant. The Mémoire de Vignes grand cru Millésime 2013, 100% pinot noir from old vines of average age of 42 years, is splendid, fragrant, it combines aromatic richness and persistence in mouth, ample and dense, with hints of white flowers and hazelnut.
And what about the B.50 grand cru Millésime 2008, except that it is a vintage of all beauty, 50% pinot noir and 50% Chardonnay Verzenay grand cru, vinification under wood, a minimum aging of 7 years, strictly limited edition, a thin and light moss, a mouth dominated by white flowers, of a beautiful aromatic persistence, combining elegance and breadth.
