CREMANT D’ALSACE PRESTIGE BESTHEIM
Located in the middle of the vineyard haut-rhinois at two steps of Colmar, Bestheim, founded in 1765 has two production sites located at Bennwihr for the still wines and Westhalten for Crémants d’Alsace. Leaning on a vineyard of 750 ha exploited by 250 wine growers fascinated by their job, Bestheim is a company particularly engaged in the environmental protection and puts a lot to the everyday life into this approach at the same time in the vineyard as within the company (fight reasoned, recycling, valorization of waste, powerful insulation, energy saving, installation of solar-fired heater, car-pooling of the employees, selection of its suppliers according to their “green” engagement,…).
Bestheim produces all the range of the wines of Alsace going from Crémants to the seven Alsatian type of vines among which the wines of reserves are declined, medal-holders, localities, Grand crus as well as famous Vendanges Tardives.
In 2008, Bestheim decided to diversify its productions while settling in the Bordelais vineyard in order to reinforce its trading positions. Bestheim at present exploits two Châteaux (Château De Caillavet in Coasts of Bordeaux and Château Fillon in Bordeaux Supérieur) on approximately 180 hectares of vineyards.
Discover Crémant of Alsace brut rosy, 12 months minimum ageing on slats, pure pinot noir, of very beautiful tint, with this nose prevailed by the fresh fruits, of full mouth and light foam.
